Winter/Spring 2026 Membership

Your membership fee covers our fixed costs—facility lease, the weekly 2,300-mile round trip to California, sorting, packing, and delivery to your door. This means your weekly box prices reflect just the cost of produce from small regenerative farms, plus a small margin.

This model keeps quality consistent for everyone, and right-sizes your membership based on how much you'll actually use the service. We make the trip to California every week whether you order that week or not, and the membership ensures we can sustain that reliability while our Premium and Flex Custom (5 - 15 weeks) plans guarantee you a spot on the truck—critical as we approach our 50-family capacity.

That's why we offer three membership options: Premier offers continuous coverage all season, Flex Custom offers the # of weeks you select in your custom plan, and Drop In is, as the name implies, a single-week drop-in available based on that week's truck capacity. Premier and Flex Custom Plan members take priority over Drop In orders.

We serve the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado with deliveries to your home every Monday.

This current (Winter/Spring) season runs from Jan 5 - May 25.

You have four choices each week:

Build Your Own Box ($100 minimum)
Our most flexible option. Each week we'll email you an online collection of 33-36 peak-season items—the same produce we use for our curated boxes. You pick exactly what you want in whatever amounts you need, as long as you hit the $100 minimum.

Deluxe Smuggler Box ($100, 14-15 items)
A balanced mix of veggies, fruit, leafy greens, and herbs. Think pomegranates, apples, avocados, lettuces, root vegetables, hearty greens, and fresh herbs.

Fruit Obsessed Box ($100, 10-11 items)
All fruit, all the time. Citrus, stone fruit, apples, pears—whatever's at peak season.

Gimme Greens Box ($75, 9-10 items)
Tender salad greens and herbs, as well as leafy greens for cooking.

Note: The three curated boxes change weekly based on what's in season and cannot be customized.

After you submit your order for your membership (Premier or one of the Flex options), you'll receive a welcome email confirming your membership has been activated.

How Weekly Box Selection Works

Every Tuesday, we'll email you next Monday's Build Your Own Box custom collection and the contents of the curated boxes (from support@producesmuggler.com).

You must choose your curated box, or build your own box, each week to receive a delivery—we'll send email and text reminders.

Yes! Just add multiple boxes to your cart when you place your weekly order.

If you're ordering more than one box, you might want to consider Build Your Own Box instead—it has a $100 minimum but gives you access to all 250+ items in our online grocery store, so you can customize exactly what you want.

This service lets you add individual items to complement your weekly box—especially helpful if you've chosen a curated option.

If you're using Build Your Own Box (BYOB): The grocery store is already part of your weekly shopping experience. Every Tuesday, we'll email/text a link to that week's BYOB collection which is just a subset of peak produce within our digital grocery store. We ask that you try to reach the $100 minimum from that week's peak-season BYOB collection, but you're welcome to add anything from the full online grocery store to customize your order.

How it works for Curated Box (Deluxe, Fruit Obsessed or Gimme Greens) subscribers:

Every Tuesday, we'll email/text you next week's curated box contents. Once you've added your weekly box selection to your cart, if you need additional items, just navigate to "Shop Grocery Store" on our website and add them to your cart before you check out. We source primarily from California farmers markets, with some items from our partner Monterey Market in Berkeley (who works with trusted organic farmers in surrounding states and farms in Mexico and Canada for year-round availability).

Example: Your box includes artichokes, corn, tomatoes, peppers, and beans, but you need eggplant, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and herbs. Simply add those extras to your order.

• You will receive an email and text every Tuesday afternoon that provides curated box contents and a link to that week's Build Your Own Box collection. Please make sure when you sign up you subscribe to email and text messaging.

• The weekly cut-off for all orders is Thursday at midnight.

• If you select your box after the cut-off, your delivery will be the 2nd Monday from the day you ordered.
