Dapple Dandy pluots are a visual standout — mottled yellow-green skin with red speckles that deepens to pink and red as they ripen, and inside, a stunning yellow-to-crimson flesh that's dense, juicy, and exceptionally sweet with a mild, plummy tartness on the finish. The flavor is rich and complex for a summer stone fruit, leaning more toward plum than apricot, with a creamy texture when fully ripe that makes them as good eaten out of hand as they are sliced over yogurt, layered into a tart, or paired with aged gouda on a cheese board. One of the more interesting pluot varieties of the season.
