🥕 Every Tuesday you'll receive an email featuring the best of that week's market as a reminder to place your order. No order, no delivery — it's always your call.

Membership Options
Group — $75-$150/family/week (Most cost-effective) Share the fee with one or two friends. We deliver all orders to one address in the group.
Membership/Operations Fee: $75-$150/family/week + cost of food.
Each household in your group places their own distinct orders but share a single delivery address — so if Joy, Troy and Melissa are in a group together, everything arrives at Joy's house and Troy and Melissa swing by to grab their orders each week.
One thing to know: On weeks when only one group member orders, the fee adjusts to $150 for that member — still $50 less than the drop-in individual rate. We expect this to be rare, but if solo ordering exceeds 4 consecutive weeks or 4 weeks within any 12-week rolling period, we'll need to revisit the group pricing.
Drop-In Individual — $200/week (Most flexible) No commitment, order when you want. Delivered to your home.
Membership Operations Fee: $200/week + cost of food
No commitment — drop in any week it suits you and skip whenever you need to. A $200 operations fee is added to each order you place.
If you plan to use the service regularly, we offer a 15% discount with a prepaid membership. Reach out to Joy at 415-377-4542 for a pro-rated invoice for the current quarter.
One important thing to know: during high-demand weeks when our truck reaches capacity, prepaid members get priority. Drop-in orders may be cancelled to guarantee delivery to Pre-Pay members. If you want a guaranteed spot year-round, Pre-Pay has you covered.
Prepay Individual — $2,040/quarter (Best value + guaranteed spot) Locks in your place on the truck. Delivered to your home.
Membership/Operations Fee: $2,040/quarter + cost of food. Mid-quarter proration available.
Our best value — and the only plan that guarantees you a spot every week. Billed prior to the start of each quarter, your Pre-Pay membership locks in your place on our truck for that quarter.
In high-demand weeks when we reach capacity, Drop-In orders may be cancelled. As a Pre-Pay member, your delivery is always protected — no exceptions.
Prepay the quarters that work for you and Drop-In during the time of year when you're frequently away or local farms are growing an abundance of what you need. It's designed to flex with your life.
Joining mid-quarter? We'll prorate your prepay membership/operations invoice so you only pay for the weeks remaining.

Why is there an operations fee?
To guarantee reliable service, we charge an operations fee that covers the weekly drive to California, personal shopping at the farms, and sorting and packing for Monday delivery to your door. It's separate from the cost of your food.
To put it in perspective: if you were to hire a personal shopper and pay for weekly courier shipping of refrigerated coolers from the Bay Area, you'd spend well over $200 before a single piece of food was purchased. Our fee is a fraction of that — and with our group rate, it's a no-brainer.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from a typical farm or CSA box?
At 8,000 feet with a nine-month growing off-season, great produce is essentially non-existent here — and even what's on the shelves at Clark's, Roxy's, and Whole Foods is only as fresh as a long supply chain allows. Many of the small farms we work with harvest within 5 days of when we deliver to you.
Every week, our team drives to San Francisco and Berkeley and hand-picks directly from certified organic farms. Most members build their own order — choosing exactly what's delivered, down to the item and quantity. Beyond peak-season produce, you can add artisanal chocolates, sweets, baked goods from Tartine, eggs, milk, yogurt, and gluten-free pantry staples to any order.
Prefer to let us decide? Our curated boxes are filled with whatever is peak season that week — and that's the only part of what we do that resembles a traditional CSA.
In summer, we focus on what doesn't grow easily here — stone fruit, berries, figs, specialty items — while also sourcing from local Colorado growers.
Working alongside them, not around them.
When and where do you deliver?
We operate in the Roaring Fork Valley in CO and offer deliveries every Monday, straight to your front door, 48 weeks a year.
We take a short four week break each June and are back in operations in July.
Important order deadlines
- You will receive an email and text every Tuesday afternoon featuring what's best of market and reminding you to place an order. Please make sure when you sign up you subscribe to email and text messaging.
- The weekly cut-off for all Monday deliveries is the previous Thursday at midnight.
- If you place your order after the Thursday midnight cut-off, your delivery will be the 2nd Monday from the day you ordered.
What is the Digital Grocery Store access included with my membership?
Whether you order a curated box or build your own, you always have access to our full digital grocery store with 250+ products.
When building your own box, we ask that you try to reach a $50 minimum from that week's peak-season "Build Your Own Box" produce collection — then add anything else from the full store to round out your order.
Prefer to let us decide? Simply choose one of our curated boxes and add any extras from the grocery store before checkout.
Example: You order a Deluxe Smuggler full box that includes artichokes, corn, tomatoes, peppers, and beans, but you also need eggplant, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and herbs. Just add those to your cart before you check out.
How is the Build Your Own Box option different from the Grocery Store?
The Build Your Own Box collection is a subset of our larger Grocery Store. It is simply the produce we consider to be peak season. If you are fully customizing your order, we encourage you to shop the BYOB collection first before branching out to shop the entire digital grocery store.
Once I become a member, how do I select my weekly box?
After signing up, you'll receive a welcome email confirming your membership is active. Every Tuesday, we'll email you a preview of next Monday's Build Your Own Box collection and the contents of that week's curated boxes — sent from support@producesmuggler.com.
Each week, you must place an order to receive a delivery. We'll send email and text reminders, but if you don't order, you don't get a delivery. It's entirely up to you how you shop — let us do the picking with a curated box, or take full control yourself. Either way, you can always add items from our full digital grocery store to your order.
Build Your Own Box + Digital Grocery Store — $50 minimum
Our most popular option. Your Tuesday email links directly to that week's Build Your Own Box collection — 33-36 peak-season items, the same produce we use for our curated boxes. Pick exactly what you want in whatever quantities you need, as long as you hit the $50 minimum.
Deluxe Smuggler Box — Half or Full Size ($50–$100)
A balanced mix of vegetables, fruit, leafy greens, and herbs. Think pomegranates, apples, avocados, lettuces, root vegetables, hearty greens, and fresh herbs.
Fruit Obsessed Box — Half or Full Size ($50–$100)
All fruit, all the time. Citrus, stone fruit, apples, pears — whatever's at peak season.
Gimme Greens Box — $75
Tender salad greens and herbs alongside leafy greens for cooking.
Curated boxes change weekly based on what's in season and cannot be customized. No matter which option you choose, you can always add items from our full digital grocery store to your order.
Where does your produce come from?
Nearly everything we carry is sourced directly from certified organic farms in the California Bay Area, Central Coast, and Central Valley — picked within days of when it arrives at your door. During the summer months, we also partner with local Colorado growers.
For year-round availability of items that can't be grown in California, we work with a network of organic farmers in surrounding states and farms in Mexico, South America, and Canada, to give you the convenience of having a one-stop-shop.
