Cool, silvered, high-country quiet.

Steel-blue globe thistles, sea holly and French lavender over a wash of Silver King artemisia, rattlesnake grass and pale oats — the cool palette of timberline, where everything goes silver and blue-green and quiet. This is the most architectural bouquet of the collection, all texture and line, and the most fragrant: the lavender keeps its scent long after drying. The tallest of the six, it wants a simple vessel and a bit of room around it.

Globe thistle (Echinops) — Perfect steel-blue spheres — sculptural and long-lasting.
French lavender — Deep violet spikes with true, lasting fragrance.
Artemisia 'Silver King' — Soft silver foliage that gives the piece its frost.

Briza — rattlesnake grass — Papery seed heads that tremble at the slightest breath of air.

Where the Flowers Come From
The artemisia and sea holly were sustainably grown on a family flower farm in Columbus, Ohio; the briza and thlaspi were field-grown without hoop houses on a regenerative Oregon farm and hand-weeded by a crew of long-term local community members. The lavender and grains are curated from trusted American growers.

Longevity & Care
These are lasting decorative pieces — delicate, made to be admired, not tended. Kept well, they hold their beauty for one to three years and often longer, mellowing into softer, antique tones. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture (never add water); dust now and then with a soft brush or a cool hair dryer on its lowest setting.

Composed by hand in Aspen, Colorado in an edition of two. No two pieces are ever identical — the second bouquet is a sibling, not a copy.
