Organic Anina Eggplant (1 lb)

Annina is an Italian heirloom variety with glossy, teardrop-shaped fruit streaked purple and ivory — gorgeous on the counter, even better on the plate. The cream-white flesh is low in seeds and notably mild, without the bitterness you sometimes get from standard eggplant.

Roast it, grill it, or layer it into a bake. Summer produce doesn't get much more beautiful than this.
