This Straus Family Creamery Organic Half & Half is made with just two ingredients—organic milk and organic cream—blended to 11% butterfat with no gums, thickeners, stabilizers, artificial additives, or coloring agents added.

Unlike many half & half products that undergo ultra-pasteurization (heating to 280°F+ for extended shelf life), which can compromise flavor and nutritional quality, Straus uses a gentler approach. Their half & half is pasteurized at 170°F for 18 seconds and lightly homogenized to blend the milk and cream together. This lower-temperature process eliminates harmful bacteria while keeping the authentic, fresh taste and nutritional value intact.

Please rinse the bottles and return them to your delivery driver. The bottles are then returned to the Creamery, washed, sanitized, and reused an average of five times before re-entering the recycling stream. The bottles themselves are made with up to 30% recycled glass.
