An organic decaf from Peru's Cajamarca region, sourced through Rony Lavan — one of the country's most ambitious specialty coffee figures. As president of the Lima Coffees exporting organization, he has built his reputation on identifying microlot-quality coffees from small producers at a time when Peru is just beginning to claim its place in the international specialty market. Rony's relationship with Cafe Imports goes back years, built on shared standards and the kind of trust that produces consistently exceptional coffee. Peru is one of the world's leading exporters of certified-organic coffee, with around 90,000 hectares of certified farmland and a strong cooperative culture among smallholder farmers — the infrastructure that makes sourcing a clean, traceable, FTO-certified decaf like this one possible.
